The professional Dan Bowers Company inspectors have been trained in stucco / EIFS inspections and moisture analysis by: PITI (Professional Inspection Training Institute); EDI (Exterior Design Institute); AWCI (the Association of Walls and Ceiling Industry); the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) Research Center; and Moisture Warranty Corporation.
We perform our inspections, using as a guideline the general Standards of Practice of the Exterior Design Institute (EDI) and the EIFS Industry Members Association (EIMA).
We know where to look, and what to look for. We pinpoint the moisture content in the underlying substrate. We provide a detailed inspection report including photos, moisture mapping, and repair recommendations.
We do NOT perform remediation or repair work. We are not stucco remediation OR installation contractors. We are certified leak detection experts and stucco consultants who provide an unbiased, professional, 3rd party reporting on the condition of the structure and its stucco system.

- Electronic Surface Moisture Scanning
- Invasive Moisture Testing of the Structure (we check our probe sites for moisture levels of the building framing and substrate behind the stucco cladding)
